About Veltkamp
Veltkamp is part of the Veltkamp Group, with headquarters in the Netherlands. Founded in 1925 in Amsterdam as a manufacturer of electrotechnical fasteners. In the 1950s, production was expanded to include a phenolic resin (Bakelite) processing department, the very first synthetic plastic. In the years that followed, this was further developed into an advanced injection molding facility with its own engineering and mold making department.
In 1984 the production was expanded with the development and production of 'buckles', the closures for securing strapping and lashing.
In the years since, Veltkamp has grown into a leading manufacturer of cargo securing equipment in Europe.
Veltkamp is the only manufacturer that certifies all relevant products, including the buckles in combination with the relevant strapping and lashing, in collaboration with DNV and Dekra.
